Psych Ed Coaches is a concept based on Dr. Abigail Levrini’s first-hand doctoral-level research and studies in ADHD and ADHD coaching, as well as more than five years of experience as an ADHD Coach and therapist.  Dr. Levrini earned her Ph.D. from Florida State University, one of only 10 Combined Ph.D. programs in the United States approved by the American Psychological Association (APA).

Dr. Levrini has published numerous scientific articles on ADHD and presented her coaching model in professional settings throughout the country.  Dr. Levrini was a featured speaker at the 2009 International CHADD Convention in Cleveland, Ohio (Children and Adults with ADHD).  She is also an elected board official of the Northern Virginia chapter of CHADD, and is currently authoring a book called "Tools for Managing Adult ADHD" with the APA. She is a Reston, VA native and currently lives in Sterling, VA with her husband, two dogs, two cats, and baby on the way!

Elaine Viccora, LCSW

Elaine Viccora is a licensed clinical social worker who has worked in Northern Virginia for twenty years. Most recently, she counseled and advised college students at George Mason University, where she still serves as an adjunct faculty member. Her experience includes coaching individuals with ADHD and similar issues on how to plan, negotiate systems, take incremental steps and ultimately achieve their academic, career and/or life goals. She’s also worked extensively with families, participated in IEP and clinical team meetings, and conducted training. Elaine has received a master of social work from Catholic University, bachelor of science in business from Georgetown University and certification from The Coaches Training Institute.
 


Lindsey Clarke Moore,

Lindsey Clarke Moore is a licensed independent clinical social worker who received her masters in social work from the Catholic University of America.  While finishing her masters she worked at Community Connections and Potomac Ridge Hospital providing mental health services. Upon completion of her masters she began work with children and families in the Washington D.C. foster care system through the National Center for Children and Families.  She provided individual and group therapy to children and adolescents exposed to abuse and neglect, many whom have been diagnosed with AD/HD, depression, anxiety, or attachment disorders.  She worked closely with foster parents by providing trainings and one on one psycho-education.  She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Therapy and Girls Trauma and Recovery Empowerment Model (GTREM).

Kim Underwood is a licensed independent clinical social worker who has provided counseling services to individuals and families in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia for 25 years.  She earned her masters degree in social work from Case Western Reserve University and completed her undergraduate work in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC.  Prior to Psych Ed Coaches, she provided executive coaching, wellness training and counseling to professional staff in corporations located throughout the Washington Metropolitan area for 15 years.  She also has extensive experience in assessment for elementary school readiness and coaching for academic success.

Maria Anastasiou is a resident Marriage and Family Therapist with a Masters degree from Virginia Tech. As part of her graduate training and residency, Maria worked at Ft. Belvoir with military families providing therapy for families, couples and individuals with multi-layered issues and needs as well as Virginia Tech's Family Counseling Center. She has also worked as a home-based counselor with children and adolescents providing psycho-education for families with problems such as ADHD and behavioral issues. She has extensive experience with all types of clients struggling with issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, marital problems, divorce, abuse, blended families, anger management, grief and loss, low self-esteem, attachment disorder and parenting issues. Maria is trained in many different types of therapy including CBT, Solution Focused, Emotion-Focused, Strategic and Structural Therapy.



Amanda Hearn, M.A., NCSP
Sterling, VA


Amanda Hearn is a licensed school psychologist who has worked in the public school setting for nearly a decade providing assessment, counseling and research based intervention services to children and adolescents with a variety of social/emotional, behavioral and learning difficulties. She is trained in the identification and diagnosis of various learning disabilities including AD/HD and has extensive experience helping children and teens with AD/HD better understand their unique learning needs and maximize their potential. She has been an active member of school-based IEP and Child Intervention Teams and has worked in the private sector as an ABA therapist. Amanda received her Master’s degree and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study from George Mason University and has also attained National Certification by the National Association of School Psychologists.
